IN just a few hours Cole will take a deal. It's making me so bitter and sooooo sad. He's pleading guilty to the crime he didn't commit- HOW FUCKED UP THE SYSTEM IS! It's so sad that I don't believe in justice anymore, especially since I just went through law school. i really hope I get through tomorrow and can stay calm- it's so hard to know he is innocent of this one and pleading guilty.
I know at sentencing after we walk out of that court room, I'm telling the prosecutor "if you ever wondered if you sent an innocent person to prison- you just did." I think he deserves to know that he will have to answer to GOD for this one day.
God, please keep my son safe, keep me sane, and let the court show mercy! It will be ok his not the first to go to prison for something he didn\'t do. Talk to us or cry to us we will listen to you and won\'t judge you.

Don\'t ya wonder how these people live with themselves knowing what they did? To them it\'s just their JOB, to us, it\'s our lives. Shame on them.
Maybe it takes people like you, that have went through these experiences that will make you be a great attorney, and maybe some people will not have to go through this, because you will fight harder than those that just do it as a job, and a fat paycheck. Good luck to you. I am sorry this is happening. We all have experienced the unjust justice system. They even teach us in our classes how unjust and messed up it is.
I\'m so sorry that this is happening to you and to your man. The whole situation is a travesty of justice. I\'m having enough trouble maintaining respect for the leaders of our land, especially the governors of particular states, and this judicial promotion of injustice only adds fuel to the fire.

I am so sorry what you and your family are going through...but I do commend you for what you are doing....going to be a defense attorney for the right reasons...I truly see how people can live with themselves either after they try to ruin someone\'s life... we are here for you always.
