Update
Have a cold/sinus infection. It's not that bad, though. Am taking the oldest daughter on a college campus tour this week. Looking forward to that. Other daughter will be a church camp leader next week. Son is working fast food, not going to college, and doing drugs. Sigh! Dogs are happy. Puppies are almost ready to adopt out. I am sleepy. Even sick, I am feeling pretty good about life. I have a chronic illness, am poor, and am working through issues related to grief over the death of my mother and repercussions of past sexual abuse, but I have a good feeling and outlook on how things will turn out. Growing in my faith I guess.

College campus tours. It was ages ago that my only child and his father did that. I don\'t know why I didn\'t go with them; maybe financial stuff. Now, I wish I\'d gone but that kind of experience was so far off my radar screen of experience it didn\'t even create a blip.
My family thought graduation from high school was the pinnacle of success.
In fact, because I was trapped in my childhood conditioning and programming there were many things I didn\'t do that as I look back bring sadness. So, lucky you, enjoy these wondrous times with your daughters.
I wonder what internal turmoil your son is in. Perhaps he will find his way out with more life experience...many do.
I agree with RASally, it does take courage--a lot of courage-to face areas that trouble us. Perhaps your willingness to face your painful past will register with your son.
Take care.

Inspiring. It shows how our attitude is what makes us - not the actual facts. I dont know how old your son is but some boys do go through difficult stages and come right in the end. Fast food work is rarely a lifetime choice...
