Last week and the beginning of this week have just been really intense with activity. My son who lives with his dad was supposed to have court to decide about his visitation rights with his children. That ended up being postponed until JUNE 7TH. Instead lots of legal statements and accusations went back and forth and more must be written this next week. We also had an attorney meeting for strategy and it was agreed that M should submit and pay for monitored visits so that he can have an unbiased written record and witness of his visitations. That will help him in the long run.
Also M is making more progress at maturing and taking responsibility for his life. He finally got his Calif. Drivers license instead of his old and now not valid Nevada License. He continues to test clean on Drug screens when they are called for. So although this is a nightmare there is a beam of light at the end of the tunnel. I just don't know how far away that is.
Regarding my oldest and only other son B, who is in jail in Florida, far from me, he has been sick with a abcessed tooth, sinus infection, ear infection all within two months time. He also had his calling card stolen through no doubt carelessness on his part, but it had $41.00 on it. He has to pay for the medical visits too. So between the shock of going to jail, the physical pain of the sicknesses, the being so far away, having his calling card stolen, not to mention withdrawal cold turkey from a 17 year Meth addiction and cigarette addiction and the shock of jail house food; you would think he would be pretty depressed! Not so for the most part anyway! Yes he does get down once in awhile, but so does everyone. He instead insists he's been miraculously delivered and talks about all the great prayer meetings and bible studies he's going to and gives me reviews on church sermons and books he's reading. He even asked me to get some of the same books so we could read together and discuss them. Now he's even getting other guys to sign up for church. He's been a Trustee for two or three weeks and so earns a little money and he has accepted his circumstances rather well. Better than I have, for sure! You all may not understand this but I am proud of the progress my sons are making.
As for me I have a new Roommate. One of my clients and her two year old. I have been taking care of the little girl since she was eight weeks old. Mom lost her house in a divorce so I had room and we are now together. For many reasons it works out really well, and I'm happy about it.
Also I adopted two cute little kitties! One is female, seven months old, pure white with beautiful green-blueish eyes. I named her Faith. She is very sweet, but somewhat shy. The other one is two months old, a male, 1 1/2 pounds, ice blue eyes, mostly white with ears tipped and tail that is a subdued apricot color. Very handsome and what a personality!!!LOL He is everywhere at once but very, very loving too and what a purr they both have. I named him cuddles. Anyway I think they are purrrrrfectly happy in their new home, LOL.
As soon as I can get help with uploading pictures; I will post them.
I hope everyone is being blessed out there, which reminds me...
When I got the kitties home They immediately got a bath (Baptism) and They purred and meowed their acceptance of salvation from certain death, from Jesus who led me to them on Sunday, so they are Born Again, Baptized, and just to be sure they each got blessed with an olive oil anointing in the form of a cross on their foreheads. As for Me and My House we will serve the Lord; Joshua 24:15
Have a Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone, Cindy

You have been really busy. B sounds like he is really getting it together and handling things. Poor M, that has to be really hard.
You, I think it sounds like having the roommate is good for you, especially with the 2 year old around to cheer you up. Who can feel down when you see the little smile and experience them finding their way in the world with everything they are discovering daily.
My daughter was having a major melt down the other day, still has boxes to unpack, feeling very sick from her pregnancy, husband never home, or sleeping when he is, no help at all and a very spoiled 2 yr old. She sat on the floor and bawled after throwing a plastic pop bottle at the wall. Her two year old, Brady yelled out to her from his room, Be ok mommy, be happy. She called her husband that is purely self centered, and demanded while sobbing that he leave work and come home now. Her 2 yr old was up at 5 a.m. husband works nights, 6 days a week, baby rebels in her when she tries to do anything, and she had had enough. So husband came home, gave her a hour or so relief, then HE had to go to sleep. As he layed down she said, Well when the hell do I ever get to sleep.
She just moved, in the big blizzard a month ago, they fired their movers and had no one to help them at the last minute, so had to beg. Now her yard is pure mud, no grass in yet, she has to hire a contractor to put in their sprinkler system. She goes to baby and me classes with her 2 year old and teaches the dance routines for a gymnastics school Yep, life is busy.
I think your new kiddies will give you that unconditional love you need, too.
Oh yea, and my daughter\'s prissy, fussy dog has decided it won\'t walk in the muddy yard to go potty, so she has to walk it across the street to the field for it to go. It will just pace all day, but won\'t go out in that yard.
Hope your days get better.
