Peace
I pray a lot for peace. For myself, for others, I know the value of peace of mind. I've lived with pain in many forms throughout my life and it has taken me a long time to get peace. When the peace fades, I am wracked with torment, physically and mentally.
Today, after I finished my journal entry I was thinking and contemplating. I received a spirit of peace wash over me and felt the words, "It's going to be okay." It was as if my mom was right there beside me, reminding me, urging me, that it is going to be okay.
Even now my heart swells at the gratitude I have for those five words. It's going to be okay. It's not a directive of what I have to do or pressure that I am not measuring up to my potential, but that I am not alone. There is a way through and that I can hope, I can have faith. God has faith in me, and I will trust in Him.
