10 days sober and still counting.I am still in quite a bit of pain in my back but I think I will be fine. Yesterday before I left work. I took one pill of each he had given me. One hydrocodone 7.5, one cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) 10mg, methylprednisolone (medrol) helps with the arthritis 4mg, 1clonazepam 1mg (klonopin). Needless to say, by the time I got home I was so drugged out I couldnt pull my butt off the couch. Woke up in time to go to bed (oh yea, Al woke me up and gave me dinner) and I went to bed and slept till 5am. Most I have slept for a long long time.. I waited until noon today ( as long as I could take the pain ) and just took one pain pill and left the others for tonight when I go to bed. My doc said he had treated more people this last month for back pain then he has in a long time.. Ofcourse I have had quite a few problems with my back as it is degenerative and arthritic. But never the pain I had before the fusion. I had so much psiatic nerve pain that Als granddaughter would say Hi grandma, Oooohh owwwww ooooh owwww. Not so funny when you are in so much pain.. lol.Not a very interesting journal but I am 10 days sober and doing good. Al keeps me so busy I cant even think about the drink.. lol.. Well thats my story and I am sticking to it.. lol... Thank you to all my wonderful friends on DS. I couldnt be doing this well if I didnt have you guys to help me through and give me kudos.. I love each and everyone of you and am very grateful to have you.. Thanks for the inspiration and kind words. You all are the best. So glad I found you.. Wow your doing great keep up the good work. I am told often that I am a pain in the back side don\'t get it. LOL. Keep up the good work and get better it is no fun to be in pain. Thank goodness for Al what a man. Your the best never forget that...Hugs and Love Vic

well done on not drinking,i am a recovered alcoholic and i know how hard it is to stop,also thankyou for all the support you have given me,i hope things continue to go well for you and your back pain is not too bad-take it easy.......

congrats on the no drinks , i have never had that problem myself but i know a few who does. it is one tough battle , unless you have support. hope all is well and your back is getting better. thanks for all your helpful comments and being a friend.
