30 weeks
Well its officially the 30th week. I cant believe I am at this point. I was just telling my husband the other day that we have 2 hand of weeks left. LOL.. He siad "Once you put it like that, it doesn't seem like that long. Baby Carter is doing very well. He weighs about 3 lbs at this point. Dr. is expecting him to be in the 7 lb. range. Not too bad at all. He kicks all the time. I love every one. Its funny, I will lay down at night to go to sleep, and he starts up every single time. We find humor in it. I tell my husband "Carter is awake".. We laugh, I enjoy the movement for a few minutes, and then I just go to sleep. The Gestational Diabetes is doing well. We manage it with little to no problem with my diet. Trust me though, it sucks being pregnant and wanting say,,,,,, A frosty from Wendy's, and not bening able to get one. So I have a list of must have's once I have Carter..
I bought my 1st bottle of Dreft washing liquid last night. I plan to get all the clothes washed this weekend. We even bought a bedding set, and I think I may wash it and go ahead and put it on the bed. Is that too early??? I just want it finished so I can set back and take it all in. We will be hanging the decor this weekend, and then it will be complete. I will for sure take pictures and post them. I love looking at everyone else's pics. Its nice to see all the different is ideas.
I will be having my baby shower on Jan.7, 2012. And I must say Im very excited. I cant wait to have all my friends together at once, and share in the joy. And of course to watch the list on the registry dwindle away to almost nothing. I cant wait to be overwhelmed with baby stuff in the house. We bought our stroller and car seat this week on Babies R Us while they had their cyber sale. We saved quite a bit, so we went for it. We will pick that up on Friday.
Overall I cant complain. Things are going very well. And I hope they continue that way. I have discomfort, but nothing I cant handle. The sciatic nerve pain is probably the worst. But it comes and goes (very often). I do get winded easily, but thats to be expected. I am craving fruits a lot lately. Grapes, banana's, pineapple, raspberries, and of course my never ending supply of apples w/ peanut butter. At least its not Whoppers I want all the time. Right?

Great job mama! I\'m sure the GD is frustrating with certain sweet cravings, but the fruits hopefully hold you over. I\'m a huge apple junkie right now too! I can\'t wait to see the nursery, it is so nice to have it done so I say heck no, not too early for the bedding! Do what makes you happy! 10 more weeks...eek! It\'s going to FLY!

Happy 30 weeks momma !!!! About fruits, I am huge fan of fruits, lately i was craving for cherries (i know they are not in season) and luckily DH saw them in Safeway, they were too costly but i took them...

Congrats on 30 weeks. I cant wait to see pictures of your nursery. And as for it being too early heck no i had Arianna\'s bedding on her bed at 2o somethign weeks LOL. I just loved seeing it.
Two hands left!! Wow, home stretch girl! It is not too late to put the bedding on the nursery Mama. We got one of our bedding sets in the mail last night and I was so excited about it I pulled it out and went running into the bathroom to show the DH. He wasn\'t really receptive to \"feeling up\" the bedding while sitting on the pot....oops sorry honey.
Time starts to fly by once you\'re in the 30\'s. The 20s are the slowest. His birthday will be here before you know it!

Thanks you guys for the comments. I am very excited to be getting so close. I didnt however get to the room decor this past weekend. Our Huge tree called for more attention than I thought it needed. LOL.. But this weekend has been designated for the baby room. So pics soon, I promise.
Turtle, you are too funny showing your hubby the set while he was doing his business. LOL..
Todays fruit choice is raspberries. And I am so looking forward to eating them. :)
