30 days and counting!

I'm so happy to say I am sober for over 30 days now. I feel great and I'm running around and staying out of the house as much as I can. Seeing my shrink and going to AA a couple times a week. Back to gardening and reading.  I'm using will power to stay sober but everyone around me insists on the AA so I go. It can't hurt but I refuse to go every day of the week. I was sober in the 90's for 8 years without it. They just won't understand that not everyone gets helped by it. The last thing I need to do is take a moral inventory. That's all I do for God's sake! We finally cleaned our TV room and bought new furniture so it is wonderful in here now. We procrastinated terribly when I was drinking and he was smoking pot. Who would think we would be in our 50's still doing this kind of stuff?  Wev'e been seeing a lot of our six grandchildren which is very uplifting. They are at such adorable ages. Glad I'm not responsible for them though. It is so great to play with them and then go home. hehe
