3 weeks post op
Ok, so I'm 3 weeks post op. I've started incorporating new foods and have realized that I most definitely have to chew my food till its basically pured in my mouth or there is going to be problems. I have also realized that there is a reason my doctor tells me to wait 10 minutes in between each bite. I'm about 20 pounds down, so almost 240. I was 260 the day of my surgery. Woo hoo! Go me! I've been doing squats and walking and I am about to start up some tae Bo. Slow and steady I guess, right? Anyone have any suggestions on what foods I can safely start incorporating that will be easy going down. No would really like to have more variety. Thanks!

i eat a lot of the same things lol i like cottage cheese with a tbs of speghatti sauce and grated cheese, also i eat a lot of chicken, i also eat cauliflower mashed potatoes i get 1/2 cup of cauliflower 1/4 cup of powder milk 1/4 cup of water and blend salt and pepper to taste. its good and better then mashed potatoes.
I eat alot of tuna. 1 4oz can is usually 2 meals. I drain the tuna, squeezing as much water as possible out. I add 1 tablespoon of sandwich spread and mix. seperate into 2 containers. Also a good idea to keep your tuna cans in the fridge.
I also like eggs - I hard boil 2 eggs - mash with a fork - add 1 tablespoon of sandwich spread mix and refridgerate.
I use sandwich spread its full fat - the reason is because i read some where that we eat so little it can\'t hurt in moderation.
