3 tropical storms predicted//dinner at k's
3 tropical storms predicted. we were hit with tropical storm colin. branches down, the top of the fence. the deck is cleared -- if the rain stops it needs scrubbing and then paint. wanted to do that today, but the news said rain until friday. no idea if it really rained - i always sleep through storms. the second tropical storm we aren't supposed to get at all, so where is the number 3 storm, no mention on the news so is it over or what?
had dinner at k's. watching frasier right now. finally had the lobster ravioli from omaha, which was FABULOUS with sauvignon blanc wine and salad. then we had stir fry. still drinking the peach cocktails with triple sec and rum, which are excellent, and coffee.
honesty between friends is more important than any something - frasier
ran errands today, but everything is thrown off because of the storm. k has another leak in the ceiling in the back den. picked up purple splat, i can't use it while i have the job i have, but i'm DYING to. (pun intended). rn called because one of the rescues isn't eating. had to order clindamycin for it, but the vet has no idea why its acting like that. they have reduced spay/neuter this summer - they do it every year, but its a terrible idea to bring in animals for surgery when its so hot out. they have $20 fixing for pitts and pitt mixes every august, i think that is nationwide at all the humane societies and shelters' vet clinics.
spent the morning doing pruning. the landscaper was here in the a.m. the brother of the crazy woman was around. also g and c still handle problems like that. "supposedly" something like what she is saying happened 25 years ago and she brings it up yearly and randomly blames people for it saying it just happened that day. super weird. her brother doesn't think it ever happened at all. he thinks she uses this "trauma" as a way to get attention. 25 years later and still going on about it. she claims she is afraid of all animals except cats, she should move to an area that doesn't allow pets. there are tons of places like that. you don't live near a park where people walk their dogs if you are afraid of animals. what an idiot.
what do people do who have kids who never leave for valid reasons, like extreme disability. even blind people live on their own, they teach them how. and most ssi people live in apartment buildings where rent is adjusted according to how much they bring in from their ssi checks, they don't live with their parents.

Hi 38! I have limited time on this siite, so just wanted to stop by! I was worried about the effect of Collin on you! Seems like you made out ok, good! We\'re supposed to have a lot of storms this summer, as you said.
That lobster sounds fantastic. Made me hungry ! LOL!!
I hope your rescue starts eating! xo
Glad you are ok. I remember them storms. I know what ya mean, I have a pen pal whose son is slow and has always lived with her. When she passes on he is to go live with his sister. But he has had a job, I don\'t know why he has never lived on his own. I can never understand how people can be afraid of animals. I guess cus I have always been around them and got along with them. It\'s second nature to me. lol Take care!
so, that\'s where \"monsoon season\", as i joked, weather came from---all the way into north east pennsylvania yesterday.
was at local farmer\'s market when rain came, with hail a couple miles out of town, with the bus i was on having very little visability.
Vinlin, fur animals are better than humans, have no idea what any human is \"afraid\" of, its humans that endanger all other living things on the planet and are the psychokillers of the planet.
darla, the rescue is eating only if rn stand there with it. its on kmr (kitten milk replacer) mixed with moist food. she says she has a second one with that. really surprised its not something with the teeth, but the vet didn\'t see anything - just a mild sore throat.
penntucky, that hail sounds worse than what we got. my friend said for about two hours the rain didn\'t stop at all, which is why there was damage to his roof (that is already damaged). there had to have been wind as well because there were limbs down. good thing your bus made it back, very hard to drive in weather like that.
