3 months out
Three months ago I had gastric bypass. I have been lucky not to have any real problems. I am eating small meals, getting my protein in with the shakes and using my exercise bike. I can't walk because my foot is fractured. Yesterday the Dr. said 5 more weeks. It is healing but not healed.
My weight loss has been really slow lately. Rather frustrating. I got to 218 and plateaued for two and a half weeks, Even my measurements didn't change. Then dropped to 214 and I am stuck again. Really makes me mad. Today I went to Cato to get a pair of shorts. Had been wearing a 22-24. 18 was loose and comfy, 16 was tight but I could button so i got the 16's yey.

Wear those shorts on your cruise with pride girl! That is great....so hard to lose when you are hindered by a fractured foot, but you are doing great! Keep up the positive thoughts and you will get to your goal. Have to keep remembering....we sure didn\'t gain all this overnight so it will take time to come off. Have a wonderful cruise...we\'ll have to compare notes when we get back! Linda

I think 50 lbs. is AWESOME! You definitely are beating the odds and it\'s gotta feel great! I\'ve been excited about dropping one size...I can only imagine how good you feel about dropping several sizes!!! I am so proud of you! Sometimes we forget that everyone is fighting their own battles...but yet you are always there for everyone. So here\'s to you my friend!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!
Thank you for sharing this update, I am 10 days away from surgery and things exactly like this has crossed my mind. 50lbs is wonderful! I will be so proud of myself when I reach a 50lb loss and you should be too, and with a fractured ankle..oh geez ...you are an inspiration!
