3 Month Update
So on Thursday, April 16th, I hit the 3 month mark of hormones. I was a little worried after that because I received a letter saying my hormone refills would no longer be covered by insurance and that they'd cost $100+ each time which is something I can't afford. But everything was straightened out and all I need to do is switch pharmacies and get 90-day supplies so the price stays the same or goes lower. Even without it, hormones would've just cost about $40 which to me is affordable.
Anyways, going off that, over the past 3 months I've had ups and extreme downs. Which I suppose is natural since I've heard a lot of transgender people say they go through some intense depression. I'm kind of worried about the increased dosage because of that, but hopeful I make it through that. Should hopefully get the increased dosage April 30th when I go back to the doctor.
Other changes have been that I'm more emotional and cry a little bit more. Some areas of my body feel a little smoother and makeup looks a lot smoother on my skin than before. My chest hair, leg hair, and my facial hair only a little bit, comes in slower. But probably the biggest physical change is my breasts. Which now are slightly pointy and are getting firmer. And I dont know if it's the same as for anybody else, but when my nipples are sore, if I squeeze them just a little, they secrete a clear liquid. Which worries me a little and is something I'll need to talk to my doctor about. I have a feeling though it's just excess fluids.
So hopefully on the increased dosage my body fat starts shifting around. I plan to start hitting the track again when I can now that the weather is consistent and looks to stay nice from here on out. Hopefully I can be at about 200lbs by the end of summer :)
So that's all for me today!
