3 mile run on the treadmill!

I'm glad you liked the part where I didn't care what people thought anymore! It's so liberating, and I am finding it is starting to apply to other parts of my life too where I'm getting less concerned about how I look to other people when I want to do something crazy or funky. Be proud of being different! :)
This morning I ran on the treadmill, even though it was gorgeous outside. 3 miles with my toe shoes! I did it because I really wanted to watch my show, Ally McBeal, on my iPhone. I can't believe with technology today I can do this now... just this little phone has become my portable television for a show that aired back in the 90s! I just had my headphones on and the minutes just melted by as I became engrossed in the show.
There is a lot of value to running outside - the fresh air, the scenery - but sometimes I'm just in the mood to relax and watch a show. I hardly watch TV (which explains why I'm watching 90s TV series! :) but when I do, it is relaxing.
I think I'm going to try for 3.5 tomorrow...
And thank you everyone for your support! Tell me your goals so I can follow them too! I know one of you is on your way to 10 miles.... :)

one of the few things about putting on some years is that it seems so much less important what others thing and, interestingly MORE important what one thinks of one\'s self...so you are running in the right direction, I think. Cheers!
