3 hour update
My body woke me up again at 4:00am. The joints were killing me. Both ears hurt and with my throat was in unbareable pain. I got up and took another predisone and pain pill. I finally got up at 6:00am. My husband with the sweet voice said, "Are you getting up?" I said, Yes. He said, "I've been up all night wacthing over you all night." I asked him,"Why am I so sick? I don't understand." He said, "You always get sick when we go to Houston. It will be okay." I said, "I don't want to be sick anymore. I am so sorry to be such a burden." He hugged and said, "I love you no matter what! That's what marriage is all about." I held him tight and told him how much I loved him.

Thank you. It means a lot to me that you are there for me. Prayers are always appreciated. God is awesome. My husband is my rock. I don't know what I would do without him. Three hours ago the Butterfly arrived on my nose and cheeks. At least I now know I only will have to deal with this a week or two. We are aggressively medicating me with the steroids. We will be juggling my meds to fight the joints, throat and ears. I have something new. I am in pain once I am in contact with anything touching my skin. Does anyone know what that might be? Do I need to post that as a discussion question? God bless. Gail
