3/30/12 2nd beta results are in.

Went to the doctor this morning to get my betas done again. I have been such an emotional wreck all morning long. I haven't been nervous till today. I went in the clinic and I just wanted to hurry up and get it over with. But, then the computer systems were down so I had to wait about 45 mins in the waiting room. There was a couple of pregnant women sitting in there and I overheard one talking about them finding out the gender today. :(( But anyways they told me the results would be back in an hour. So, I came home and just burst into tears. I knew I was going to get bad news and I texted my mom and she said she was going to pray for me and she called the preacher and asked him to pray for me too. Not even 20 minutes later, the nurse calls and she says well, your results are in..... and she didn't sound too enthusiastic. She says your betas have gone from a 13 to a 67!!!!!!!! She says my numbers are really good! Says I don't even have to come in for a follow up :DD I'm so excited! She says if all stays well, I don't have to come back till my first OB appt which is May 3! I am so relieved, you guys have no idea. So then I called my mom and I just cried with her on the phone. She kept saying I told you! Well, now I can sleep a little better at night and will just count down the days till my u/s where I get to see the baby :D That's all for now. Got to go to work from 12-4pm and can't wait to tell my coworkers!
