Back to DS. I hope i can remember how good this site was for me and continue posting. Update for me, I just got out of the hospital after a week's stay due to diverticuloses and a bad kidney infection. Right before I was to be released, the doctor noticed my breathing was a little strained, so he did a Cat Scan of my lungs. They found multiple small blood clots in both. I was put on Heparin via IV. They really aren't sure what caused them. I take meds for high blood pressure, am overweight and don't get much exercise due to bad osteo arthritis in both knees. I walk with a walker. After a couple days of the Heparin, I was put on Eloquis and and an antibiotic for the diverticulitis and sent home. As of today, I have weaned myself off the oxygen and finished the antibiotic. I have several days left of Eloquis. I'm to call my Dr. and check in with him which I will do tomorrow. I try not to think or worry about the clots. I haven't had any pain or felt any different than I always have. God is watching over me and that's what I put my trust in. I hope everyone out there is having a good Sunday morning. xo
