2nd Q Interims

Yesterday the kids got their interims. For DD's Spanish class, it said she didn't complete all her homework. She said that the teacher isn't always clear as to what the homework is; I told her that means she has to ASK the teacher to clarify.
For DS: same old, same old. In danger of failing Sociology & English. English suggested he get extra help from the teacher. I told him he should probably do that. He's gotta pass Soc, or he'll need to repeat it next semester. I don't know what the problem is; he even has friends in the class & they're doing OK in it. Whatever, I guess! (as DS would say!)
This year (in Dec), DH will be turning 50. I asked him what he wants & he said "you." I said, you already have me! He said he just wants to have me to himself; well, gee, we do things together alone! So it's got me wondering (just a little, not obsessively) what the heck he means by that. However, it's up to him, not to me, to communicate that. After all, if I knew, I wouldn't be asking!
