2nd Day

Today started really well. It was my last day up at the hospital as a Day patient and I had my discharge CPA. The same consultant was there along with my Therapist and Key Worker but today felt different. After coming home yesterday and making these plans I was going in with a determination and it really helped my mood. I was more responsive to them and so I think that helped with how they responded to me. My consultant was more supportive and was giving practical advice today rather than a 'you know what to do, no go do it' attitude she had yesterday. I don't know, my CPA was the first one at 9am so maybe everyone was feeling fresh or something!Anyway, straight after my CPA I had a therapy session which also went OK. Although I didn't get around to doing much 'therapy' there was still a lot of talking. Although with it being my last day as a Day Patient it's not suprising what we were talking about.Food wise it's been my first full day on my 'soft portion diet' so I was up nice and early (earlier than I'll normally have to because of my appointment) to have my breakfast - Juice, 1/2 portion bowl of cereal and 1 slice of toast with butter and jam. During my therapy I had my Morning Snack which is a mug of milk. When I got home it was time for Lunch - 3/4 of a tuna sandwich for my meal and pudding was a fruit corner yoghurt.Afternoon snack again was milk (arn't soft portion diet snacks boring?)Dinner is at 6pm and Mum taught me how to make Scrambled egg tonight (yey!) I'm using an instant mashed potato mix called "Smash" as I only need a small amount of mashed potato (easier, quicker and tastes fine to me) and I'd already learnt how to make that last night. So I had Scrambled egg, mashed potato and peas for my dinner and again for dessert a fruit corner yoghurt.I've just had my Evening snack now....you guessed it...Milk.It hasn't been as easy as it's sounds all listed there in purple and white though. Nearly had a set back because I got really upset earlier. There is SO much to deal with at home at the moment and it's all getting a bit too much but I've written a lot already so I'll go into all that in another entry. The main thing is though that I DIDN'T let it get to me, I didn't let my BPD thoughts take over and start the ED off again! I stuck two fingers up at it and poured that mug of milk out!!
