I just wanted to write a few things down, I just can't stop thinking about the things I have done and how stupid I was for gambling, I know I am feeling a little depressed is because reality might have really hit me in the face. I know I have an addiction and I can't say I will never gamble again, and it is a day by day thing, but so far I have stayed strong and I will continue to be strong and just for today I will not gamble. I am going to study for my final exam for Economics tomorrow, everyone have a good night. Hugs, Mindy

I know what you mean - i have gone ovr the thoughts in my mind so many times - if only - but I have faced the reality of my addiction and the consequences and now it is time for restitution. I guess this comes when we are feeling a little stronger in ourselves. There is also forgiveness, it is key. Forgive yourself. YOu are healing and you are becoming a stronger person, you are facing your difficulties head on. I am so proud of YOU. - hugs and love Suzi
Once we forgive ourseleves our recovery becomes much easier. It\'s a hard step in the recovery, to forgive, I think it\'s the hardest step. But just accepting the fact that there is a problem is a good 1st step to forgiving yourself. You\'re not a bad person, you are a good person with a bad sickness. Hang it there sweetie! Things will get more peaceful for you. Peace and Love. Patty
