I have been very busy the past few days working and preparing for a friends wedding. I feel like sometimes I am losing my mind, one bill collector after another, but I am really trying not gamble. I keep telling myself one day at a time, I am really tring to stay focused on other things. I wish everything would be the way I want it to be, I read other journals and I wish I could have a positive attitude, towards this whole thing. I am the only person that can change what I have I have done, being in debt because of this gambling issue. I guess I just need to stay on top of things, and remember the important things in life, and hopefully I can get back on track. One day at a time, I have not gambled though so I guess that is a positive thing. I will try really hard not to slip again like I did last week. I am so tired of lying to myself and others and pretending that everything is ok. I know someday it will be. Take care everyone. I will write again tomorrow.

A postive attitude is a hard thing to have early in your recovery. The more you resist the more postive attitude you\'ll get. Think postive and tell yourself.....\"Today I won\'t gamble\"!!! One day at a time. You can do this and we are all here for you! Peace and Love.
It is hard work and you can only take it one day at a time. DS is a great place to start, but like Eastwester said you must work it everyday.
Don\'t be stressed by finances. If you work at it, things will straighten out. You are doing very well. Don\'t let your subconcous mind tell you gambling is ok, its not, it ruins lives. Be strong.
\"The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it.\"
Do the right thing, remain GF today, hugs
