My son says I need to stop worrying about him. Then he stops talking to me. This is day 3. He tells me after work a few nights ago he was going to skip going back to school AGAIN this quarter. Work has offered him a better shift...well they talked about it...doesn't mean it will happen the way I see it. I told him that getting his education should come before work. When I said "It's not like you pay rent or have to buy food" he took that all wrong. I meant it as in he didn't need money to survive on just his activities/clothes and such. Now he is buying his own food. Now I have too much food for me. I'm giving my son space. I know how he gets if I try to talk to him...angry. He suffers from depression, wouldn't doubt he's bipolar. Can't get him to sign up for the county's medical care. I want him so badly to get his degree and have a future. I never finished college. He doesn't see how I don't want him to end up like me. I posted a song on Facebook for my son called "If I Could", a mother singing to her child. One line is "I know the life I gave you isn't mine to live"; how true that is.
