Today I'm feeling okay. On Wednesday say my primary physician. I'm diabetic and my glucose was 431. Never been that high. So, of course everyone was worried. Blood tests and urine tests done. New diabetes meds ordered.
Told not to start my new dosage of Seroquel yet in case that is what cause the spike in my glucose. Doc has to talk to Pdoc. My doc warned me that the new med might swing me the other direction to hypoglycemic.
Wake up this morning dizzy and in a cold sweat...sure enough I was hypoglycemic. The hard part now will be making sure I eat with this new medication. I go all day without thinking twice about food. It will be an adjustment. Monday I go back to the doc for a follow up.
Didn't get my question answered about stomach cramps/pain but I'll make sure I direct it at my primary and not the intern who does the initial evaluation and says "I don't know". For nearly a month I've had the worst pain which always makes it hard to eat. My moods seem to be level at the moment. That is nice for a change. Kind of like being in the eye of the storm I guess.
