HAPPY IRISH DAY TO ALL!
I am reluctant to use "St."...as I am not familiar with the origin enough...and no I did not Google---unlike some people, I know the Internet contains more fiction than fact.
Besides...the only Saints are: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John right??

He actualy is a protesant who was captured and brought to Ierland as a slave. He did make it back home but returned to Irealand as a priest. The ctholics declared him a Patron saint. He definitaly was an amazing human being who developed a strong Christian faith. I am protesent but have family who came over from both sides of Ireland. I know one thing for sure They do have some good irish food May the luck of the Irish be with you!

I have an English Mother and an Irish/Canadian Father. We are catholic and there are more saints. St. Anthony, St. Aloysius, and many more. Makes for interesting reading to find out all they did to recieve the title of sainthood.
Happy belated St. Patricks day and hope your day was great!
Have a wonderful day tomorrow...well here it is after midnight, so I guess I should say have a great day today!

But, not really. According to Paul, we are all saints.

But, the basic story behind this is, (I heard it on klove, the Christian radio station I listen to. And other sources) Patrick was a human slave/prisoner when he was young. Was taken from England to Ireland. One day, his guard fell asleep. He was able to escape and return to his home in England. There, he became convicted about the lack of Christianity in Ireland. He then returned to Ireland, where he use the clovers (three leaves) to tell the Irish about the Trinity.

Wow. How God works. His nature proclaims Him!!!!
