I\'m looking for friends, I\"m getting to the end of my rope. I haven\'t had any relief for 2 weeks now. The burn is unbelievable all day. It\'s like having acid thrown all over your body. It\'s hard for Dr\'s or friends to believe. Even wonder if my husband understands what it takes me to go through the day.

Hi Piper222 - I just joined this group and I have a quit date of 4-9. I am also in pain - fibromyalgia and CFS - I joined those groups some time ago and they have been so much help!! Just knowing others understand what you are going through is so helpful - not like talking or venting to someone who doesn\'t have a clue!
I am quitting smoking, and like you I feel like they are my friends. However, not very good friends!! I feel quilty about smoking, I can\'t afford to smoke financially, I hate the way it stinks everything up - so, I am going to write a Dear John letter to my cigarettes !! I am telling them that although we have been together for a very long time - I am chosing to say goodbye to them. They are not good for me. I want to be away from them.....blah blah blah.
Just a little suggestion for you.
I have quit many times and three times for more than 3 years!!!! It is that one nasty puff that gets you right back into the habit. Then this battle starts all over again - I wish you the best of luck!! YOU CAN DO IT !! But don\'t beat yourself up for slipping - you are only human. Try again !! We can do it together!!
