Another Day

Today is one year and twelve days since my husband of 56 years passed away and I'm
still wondering what to do with my life.. I get up and immediately there is a cloud over
me. .I go about my daily chores, doing  just what I have to do to keep things running,
but nothing more.. Does that part ever get better??  I feel my husband receding into
the background more, and I am sad about that.  That's not to say I don't still grieve for
him and miss him terribly..and, in my mind, bring him back.. But, that's not moving on,
this is the new reality for me, and, I'm desperate for some kind of direction, something
new to spark my interest.. Anyone else feel this way?    gg

Hello Gladstone,
I have the same struggle with direction. I am 9 months into losing Brian and it is so confusing and most time I feel I am being exposed and vulnerable and I hate that feeling. What most bothers me is the lack of direction that I can not seem to figure out. I don\'t know where I want to live, what I want to work at, nothing. I put it out of my mind and just exist day to day so I don\'t make the wrong decision. Sorry I have no answers for you - just letting you know that I have the same feelings you are. Perso.
