Dad

I sure think of you a lot, Dad.  Especially with this surgery approaching.  I have been talking to you and I hope you are hearing me.  I need you to help me get through this next week and especially the surgery.  I hope you would be proud of me.  I know you always told me I needed to lose weight and one of the reasons is you.  I don't want to die the way you did.  It was awful watching the pain and discomfort you went through.  So even in your death you taught me a great lesson.
