Hey AllWell I'm wore out and its Rhondas fault lol. We went to my therapy appt then meet mom for lunch. We had mexican enough for dinner and supper. I took a doggie bag to ralph. We then went to walmart and I decided to get my hair cut. My mom wants hers cut to but she wants to donate it to locks of hope or something like that so I'm suppose to do some research for her to tell her how she can do it.Rhonda went to get some groceries while I got my hair fix and then I paid and we went to the health food store. My was buying something for Ralph and I have to pick up on friday. We then told mom bye and we headed for the ceramic store. We got some ceramics to paint and mom had a noah's ark that got smoke up in a fire in her trailer full of antiques. She found it in the ashes so the lady at the ceramic store is going to fix it for us inside and she said the paint will cover the black outside. She will charge us 8 dollars but thats ok. I will probably give it to Alex and let Rhonda pay for it. He likes to paint to when he's in the mood.We got home and unloaded and I was pooped. I got on the puter for a few and wasn't feeling good so I went to take a nap. Couldn't sleep because legs and chest was hurting. Still haven't seen the lung doctor and my doctors nurse is real slow. So I took Ralph's hydro and got back on the puter. I'm starting school on the 14th and class will be available to look at on the 12th. I wrote a essay saying why I should get a scholarship to go to school and my counselor said to write about my illness and tell why i want to go. So this is what I wrote Well to start with my name is Robin Williams. I live in Vonore, TN with my husband Ralph, my sons Anthony and Joey and my Daughter- In- Law Nikki. Also my friend and her grandson came from Texas to live with us. We also have 7 cats which 2 were strays, 6 dogs and 1 pup for Alex the grandson. I started school at Knoxville Business College in 1994 wanting to get a business of my own and I did well in computers. I had to quit there when I became anemic and had no energy for school and then I got cancer. I’m a veteran was in the Air Force for 8 years I got out on a medical retirement so I could go to the VA for treatment. The closest VA hospital was three hours away. I had to have two surgeries to take the tumor out and then started on 30 radiation treatments. I stay there during the week then after mom working 10 hours 5 days a week she came pick me up on Friday and took me back on Sunday for 6 weeks she did this so I could see my family. My mom is great and thankfully still around because I would miss her. We live with my in-laws during my treatments then after treatments we were able to buy a house in 1995. January 1996 I sign up for classes at Hiwassee even with two young kids and not feeling good most the time I GPA was 3.6 and I love most the classes. I did get to graduate with a associates in 1998. But during the time in 1998 going to school I found out that I had swelling on my spinal nerves this was cause by the disease called Neurofibromatosis. My son also has this disease and had problems at school. My doctor suggest me not to go to no more school because my problem will only get worse so I graduated and had to make a decision not to finish my bachelor’s so I could take care of my kids. Anthony and Joey kept me busy and I got disability from VA and social Security. In 2002 Joey keep having problems at school so once again we got help from mom and we put him in a private school and he is going to graduate this year after 6 years there. He also got his Eagle badge with help from me, dad and brother. Well in 2002 I got sick and the docs found a tumor on my pancreas. I went in for a biopsy and the doctor said he got most of it and I shouldn’t have any problems. Well he was wrong. I stayed sick and in and out of hospital from November 2002 till December 2002 and then I got sicker and we change hospitals and doctors. My new doctor did test and schedule surgery on January 3,2003 to rearrange my intestines around the tumor and also we he went in he found a tumor on my ovaries so he took them also. I recover and went home for a week in Mid January 2003 and one week later had a Urinary Tract Infection and spent another week in the hospital. I did follow ups and in March 2003 found another tumor on my thigh and the same doctor removed it. I also had problem with the incision where the feeding tube was and had two surgeries with that. So I got check ups for the tumor on my pancreas and did good. Had anemia for unknown causes but did well on Iron vitamins. Being on disability I couldn’t do much so I got acquainted with the computer and chronic pain groups on the internet. I did well for awhile then in 2005 my husband having Fibromyalgia got sickier and we waited for disability. We waited from January 2005 till April 2007. We had many problems financially and we couldn’t finish work on our house. In November 2006 I admitted myself to the mental ward. I had a bad reaction to a opiate that I took for pain and was suicidal. I spent 9 days on the ward and then spent 4 more weeks in outpatient therapy. Its been one year for me on November 27, 2007. I go to Aftercare twice a week and AA once a week. January 29, 2008 it will be 13 years cancer free and I thank God for him and everyone else in my life that I was able to help or they help me. Three weeks ago I develop bronchitis and problems breathing with fatigue this I found out going to the doctor two weeks ago. Today January 21, 2008 I went back to the doctor. I have problems still with my lungs and I also may have problems with b12 levels and anemia. So I’m dealing with a lot of stuff right now and hopefully when I feel better I will have two surgeries to get a bladder pacemaker. But during the last three weeks I wanted something for me so I decided to find an online school and pray we can afford it because I can’t get VA help or they will take my pension. So now I’m looking into getting a Web Development Associates degree at the International Academy of Design and Technology just for me and self improvement. If it takes money that I can’t afford or takes away my pension I can’t do it. But even with the medical problems I would like to try to do something for me. My counselor said it was a good essay so we shall see. I'm not very good with grammar she said it was good so now I can get your opinion on it.I gain back a pound. I look ugly in the mirror with all my weight but hopefully I can lose some of it. I need to do bills soon. I wasn't feeling good yesterday.I got another smiley for you all today. I'm working on keeping my cats off my desk so I can clean it.The carpenters start work on Monday. My health isn't under control yet because having problems breathing. I took a shower last night and afterwards I had to lay down for a hour I was so out of breath.Well I guess thats about it. Hope everyone had a pain free day or free as possible. Love ya allRobin
