Hey AllDad called at mom's on Sunday. Dad just ask for my brother didn't say hi or nothing. Anthony went over dad's I told him it was his choice but he didn't stay long. Joey wouldn't go and I said that was okay to. So now I have to forgive and forget him.

Remember foregiveness is a gift we give ourselves....so yes, give yourself that wonderful gift and move on. God Bless You!

Forgiven heals yourself but I know if we can really forget--especially a parent. Maybe forget means to move on if you have done everything on your part to repair the relationship. Hugs.
iI have forgiven my family many times but forgetting is whats hard for me . God wants us to forgive part of being a christian but forgetting is never easy I pray you can do both because It dosnt help any of us move on and improve our lifes and get on with it till we do . Im 54 and still learning . Lifes to short to hold grudges but time makes it easier its fresh hurt right now I pray you will be at peace with your dad starting new year
The only person that hurts if you don\'t forgive is you. You have to do it for you.
had that sort of relationship with my mom...finally got sick of how she was treating me over my brothers wrote her a letter telling her of stuff in the past and how i was done. Had dates and names to back it all up. well either my step-dad said something to her or it got to her and she is actually working on rebuilding our relationship.learned a long time ago that holding grudges agaist ppl only hurt you in the long run..
forgetting is the hardest thing of all

I think we are called to forgive but forgetting is not promised. Remembrance remains as a life lesson. Sometimes it\'s a very painful lesson but those are the ones that help us grow and heal. Blessings.
