Hey AllFeeling some better today. It was warmer out and the sun shine. I didn't get anything done today just can't get motivated. We have no room for a tree so we don't have to do that. We painted christmas ceramics and put up in the living room so its some christmas here. It just doesn't seem like a year when I was in the hospital for depression and ended up a addict because a med made me depressed. This time last year I was going to rehab 5 days a week and trying to take care of my teeth to. Medicare paid for the rehab but I couldn't miss for appts or anything so they are strict but I stick to it because I didn't want to pay and it was working. Last year I still had friends in the msn group and we were getting along good. Last year I had dad visit me. This year no group no dad but a friend and her grandson is in our lives. I needed a real live friend, nothing against my online buddies but real live is good to since she is a good friend. I met a couple in aftercare and AA to. So I have some live friends this year. Ralph went hunting and it took his energy,he's laying on the couch. He has good days and bad just like me. The pain is better today but I feel detatched from the holidays. The boys got there's already and its not like there small. Not many to give out on christmas, Joey got dad something, rhonda got alex and joey something and I'm giving rhonda a ceramic i painted and got two beagle dogs for ralph to hunt with so thats it. I give mom a gift card to hobby lobby maybe. She is going to the senior citizen center and learing to draw and she's good. She's going to paint now. So she might like a gift card. Not got dad or step mom nothing. They don't want it so they dont get it. My dad call me stupid and said Rhonda is not welcome and no phone call from him yet. My brothers probably got him work up and he got drunk and then I call him and he went off. I'm not real close to my three brothers either i just see them when I go to moms. So no big deal. Well thats about it I can change my face. One more thing. I've been into painting ceramics again with Rhonda. Long time ago I did it and just quit. Now I'm back into it and my dining room table is full of stuff. Its relaxing and its sort of fun. Love ya allRobin

Try to think good thoughts this season and let God rest in your heart and heal all your wounds. Hugs!!!
Hi Robin,
You still have some time to get in the Christmas Spirit. It\'s all about Jesus and love any way. I\'m not putting up a tree. I live alone, and can\'t see going through the hassle.
I\'m hoping you can change your face soon.
Love and hugs,
Vicki
Robin I know the on line friends are great but your right it does not replace a real, live buddy. Once upon a time I did a whole lot of ceramics, gave most of the pieces away. It was very relaxing plus you get to enjoy the finished product. Be well, Debbie
Sounds like working on the ceramics is also good \"therapy\" for you, Robin. Plus you enjoy it. That\'s a great combination! We haven\'t decorated at all for the holidays yet. I suppose tomorrow and Wednesday I\'ll put a few pieces out - and I git a tiny living tree for my kids to decorate for Winter Solstice, then we\'ll plant it out front. We are consciously moving away from the commercialism of christmas and teaching our sons to celebrate the goodness of Mother Earth with Solstice. I hope you continue to feel better. Many hugs, Trish.
i\'M GOING FOR THE POWER OF THINKNG POSITIVE IT REALLY HELPS ME SO MUCH, NEED TO START FOCUSING NOW ONLY ON POSITIVE FOR WHILE, AFTER A WHILE IT KINDA GETS TO BE A HABIT:) cHRISTMAS SURE ISNT WHAT WAS WHEN W E WERE KIDS... XX BRY
Christmas is what you make it. One of my friends was single and all her family was in the Phillipinnes, but she celebrated Christmas better than anyone I ever knew. She would decorate the lab where we worked, played Christmas music while we worked, and bought present for all her relatives in the Philipinnes and got toally excited about the birth of Jesus. She embraced life, wherever she was, she prayed, and meditated and she loved. What more can I say...her tree was tiny like her apt. , her nativity scene was big.
It\'s not too late to celebrate!
