Hey AllJust wanted to write about last night. The kids go to our church to have a trunk and treat. They had a good time. Me and my friend Rhonda went over to take a picture of my son's whale he made out of his truck and saw some friends. I hadn't been to church for about 6 months or so. I got this thing about crowds. Other then walmart and going to doc I've been home. But I did see some friends but it felt weird. I felt like I belong but I didn't. My beliefs have change from the church beliefs and no one knows this but my family and my mom. So going to church is sort of uneasy feeling. Anyone done this before. My kids enjoy church and I don't mind them going because I taught them what I believe but they enjoy the friends and youth group and trips they do. So my friend that move in with me grandson is going now and she wants me to go Sunday I don't have nothing that fits because of my weight. So decisions decisions. Thanks for letting me vent. Love Robin

God looks at the heart hon
christian love to you
Oh boy Robin, I know how you feel! I have not been to church lately because I cant fit anything. I have gained soooo much weight. Also my feet swell and cant fit any of my shoes. I really miss going to church though.
I feel odd every time that I go back to church, when I have been away for a long time. I usally feel better when I go though.
I understand what you mean about you, beliefs, and church. I\'m in the same boat.
Never been a churchgoer, so not much to say. I do understand about not going out much, thoughI pretty much limit myself to the art store and the Barnes & Noble. :(
I am not a Christian but my god is unconcerned with my wardrobe as I\'m sure yours is as well. As long as you\'re clean you need not be fashionable BUT as a young woman, you want to look nice & to fit into the congregation for your children\'s sake. Can you afford a visit to a thrift shop? Or maybe your Mom or a relative is your size. Ask the friend who wants you to go with her for assistance. It will all be as it should. Don\'t dwell on what you don\'t have. Place yourself in the hands of your God & He will give you what you need.
Hope I\'m not being too forward. Take care of yourself.
I am not religious but i am spiritual. I do not go to church, I don\'t find it necessary to communicate to god through others. I can do it myself just fine. As far as weight goes I understand how the meds can really add the pounds, I\'m on a never ending battle of the bulge and i am winning as long as I don\'t let my guard down. i also find it difficult to be around a lot of people, I get very....panicy. I have social anxiety. renashere had a good suggestion about thrift store, some nice inexpensive stuff there. I have found some really cool things. the trick is to go often!!! Be well, Debbie
As many others said, don\'t worry about what u wear just as long as u look nice and clean. God does not look on the outward appearance, He sees the heart and that is what He looks at. He loves u no matter what. Just go & give Him praise & glory for just another day, for keeping u even thru this illness. Although I go thru so much with the MS/Pain and Chronic headaches, I still tell myself that it can be so much worse!! Be blessed by the Best!
Chris
