I’m feeling a bit pants, not that I should do but I can’t help it. 2 weeks ago I had a positive scan, something I have never had before (5th pregnancy). Since then I have been worrying whether the baby is alive, is growing…. I was given the option of having a reassurance scan 2 weeks later, but one has not been arranged at the time. I was told to call yesterday to arrange an emergency scan. Well the hospital were too busy to talk to me and then they never called me back, I have had to pester them loads and I hate doing it. When I did get hold of them the sister said she would try and organise the scan for today, she has not bothered to call me back so being 4pm I guess today is out of the question. I just want to get it over and done with, move on with things if I can. Part of me thinks we might be lucky and the baby will be well, but I suppose because of my experiences I feel that things could go wrong just as easy. I tell my self I am lucky to have made it this far, but with each day I get more attached so it will make it harder to let go if things go wrong.

Oh honey, I so feel for you. I remember the roller coaster oh so well. Don\'t feel bad for pestering the staff. They would rather you were reassured and happy than sitting at home worrying yourself sick. Get on that phone first thing and get that scan arranged. Fingers crossed all will be well and you can have a period of relief however if your journey is like mine you will be needing reassured again soon. This is completely normal when you have m/carried. Itdoes get
Oops didn\'t mean to post. What I was saying was it does get easier especially when you have the daily reassurance of a little baby squirming away inside you. Chin up and thinking of you. HUGS xx
