Update...
Dad is still in the ICU, in fact I'm sitting in his room with him right now. He's doing better, but still not breathing well on his own. They've got him on the bipap (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilevel_positive_airway_pressure) machine still, but he's been spending some time each day breathing on just a regular mask. Today he made it to 3.5 hours.
In other news, I started spotting on Friday. At first it was old blood and accompanied by a lot of clear mucus (tmi, I know), and then that went away completely. This morning it was a bit of pinkish red spotting, but now it's back to old browny crud. So, now I'm expecting AF to show up. Then again, if I'm lucky this is ovulation, if not, oh well.

So sorry I got to these journals so late. I\'m sorry to hear what happened, but glad he is getting better. Thinking and praying for you.
Thank you ladies! Got a small update on my Dad. His wbc is now up to 1.2 as of yesterday. A normal wbc is above 3.5, so he\'s getting closer to having an immune system.
