General Update
67 days until I move, and I can't wait! To make sure we get a moving truck, DH and I have already requested one. August and September tend to be very busy moving months with students moving back to the city and a lot of them tending to move last minute. (Most schools here start the day after Labour Day)It's still 'early', but I am slowly packing away things that aren't necessary to have out right now. Like over half of the 300 books I own, VHS movies that aren't being watched and various little things that don't need to be used over the next 2 months (small decorations etc). I have 8 small boxes packed, 3 of books, 1 of VHS movies, 3 of winter and too small for me clothes and 1 of small office/decor items. I also already spoke to my insurance company about my rental policy, to see what changes needed to be made and the lady was nice enough to make the changes for me already to start up for September 1st so I don't have to worry about that. The next thing on my list is to get all the utilities hook ups set up. I'm trying to be organized and get things ready/done early since moving can be a hassle AND I'll be starting college 2 days after we move. The less stressful the move is, the better! As usual though, trying to explain to my mother why I've got a few small boxes packed already and lists made up etc ends up with her 'teasing' me about it. Which means she makes fun of me and insists she's 'just teasing' when I get upset or hurt by her comments. I think I'm the ONLY one in my family who can manage to get things done early/on time, they all tend to leave things til the last minute and wonder why it's so freaking stressful and blah blah blah... anyway, on to a new topic. In IF news, it's CD6 and day 2 of Letrozole. I bought a basal thermometer and have been tking my teperature every morning before I get up. I'll start doing LH tests on CD10, even though I know the last 2 cycles were CD22 ovulations. I might start them on CD15 instead, though. I'm indecisive about that. That pulling/squeezing sensation is mostly gone, I only feel a few pulls/throbs throughout the day instead of having a near constant squeezing sensation.I also like the fact that it seems like AF has gotten into a predictable cycle now. 36-38 day cycles with AF only lasting 5 days is MUUUUUUUUCH better than the 62-72 day cycles with AF lasting 14-20 days!Oh and for those of you who were wondering (if anyone was), my brother's sentencing has been adjourned to August 2nd. Dad should be starting chemo again within the week, we find out today if he qualifies for bendamustine or will be starting the 'last ditch effort' of velcaide which he's already been approved for. We're hoping for the bendamustine (it shows great promise with lymphomas and could give him a lot more time with us).

I think you are smart to start packing already - moving is stressful and there is always stuff that you can pack ahead of time and not miss. I start packing ASAP whenever I find that I\'m gonna move. Good luck with the temping - I\'ve heard it\'s difficult but maybe with the use of the LH strips it\'ll be less confusing. And keeping fingers crossed that this is your time - it\'s got to come around sooner or later. So does your brothers sentencing move mean he has more time with you guys?? so this is kind of a blessing? and also hoping that your dad gets the B drug and shows some great response to it. You sound like you are in pretty good spirits, that makes me happy.
Thanks poly. I like to be organized with the packing/moving stuff. I\'ve moved so much I\'ve actually perfected packing a truck. When my friends moved, I literally spent the whole time in the truck rearranging what they\'d already packed and packing in the rest. In 15 minutes I\'d moved what they had packed and got it from half a truck to a quarter of the truck space. Not a very useful skill all in all, but it\'s like a 3D tetris game so it can be fun at times.
The temping is annoying in that I\'m still half asleep when I take my temp (I tend to roll around a lot in the mornings, so I temp as soon as my alarm goes off, before I start rolling around). I\'m using fertilityfriend.com to track/chart my temps, and they put in your ovulation day for you, but it tends to be the day after you ovulate, so the LH strips will come in handy for making double sure that DH and I BD at the right time.
As for my brother, yes, he gets more time with us. Dad\'s physical health is dwindling to the point of he has a wheelchair sticker for the car and is getting a walker as soon as his palliative care team can fit him/get him one. Mum just called and said that Dad did get approved for the Bendamustine, but the other drug (Rituximab) isn\'t going to be covered. She\'s going to call the makers of the drug tomorrow and see if they\'ll agree to give it to him. It\'s a $7,000 per dose drug, so if they won\'t, my parents can\'t afford it. :S
Wow there is so much going on with you, I hope the move and everything else goes smoothly! Never feel bad about being organized, it is the best way to be, it makes everything easier! You Mom is teasing because deep down she wishes she could be more like that, ttrust me, my Mama does the same thing to me!! XOX
