I feel like that Tom Petty song- The Waiting IS The Hardest Part- 6 days to go. I am completely lethargic- am positive but just want to sleep and wake up on Monday when my beta is. I have been feeling really good but started to feel moody and depressed last night- I am sure it is the progesterone as I have heard that it makes you moody. I got really snappy with my DH last night as well and then freaked out with worry that my getting angry would hurt my embies as we are supposed to stay calm. He just annoyed me-he is being so good but he is human too and he got kind of bratty with me and I just went off-its so strange to have all these hormones just rule the show. I have been being so calm and quiet-really limiting my contacting with the outside world and sleeping alot. I know we dont have to but it just feels like the right thing to do for me right now. I have been doing my visualizations and prayers every day but today for the first time I feel a little unsure- I just need to pray in earnest for my FAITH to be strong and true.Had a little scare yesterday with pale pink discharge but RE said its very normal and common from the progesterone inserts-esp since they have irritated me so much.Am tentatively booked to work a couple events this week-end but my DH tihnks its a bad idea as it can be high stress and lots of walking around and dealing with the press which is nutty at these types of things and many annoying people!!That said, it would feel good to earn some cash and since I am freelance I hate to not be available to the firms that hire me as they count on me being there when they cant make it out from NYC. My embies are what matter most thought so we shall see. I know alot of women work full time during the 2ww so I may just be being a little paranoid ( as usual!!)

I was so paranoid going back to work...I still am. I wont turn a patients or even move a chair. You are right ~ those embies are the most important things right now!!!!!

No you are not paranoid at all. I did absolutely nothing during my 2ww. (I didn\'t even leave the house) I was lucky as it was school holidays but I did take a few weeks off before that as well. (I just told everybody involved what was going on and they were all so understanding and didn\'t put any pressure on me at all)I felt like I had to give the IVF my full 100% attention so I couldn\'t blame anything if it was unsuccessful. I don\'t regret that way of thinking one bit and I am at peace with the thought that the reason we were unsuccsessful this time was purely the fact that it just wasn\'t meant to be. Unfortunately, that doesn\'t make it emotionally any easier but it helps. Don\'t feel guilty, if you want to do nothing than follow your heart. I am soooo glad I did xxx
