I am back from my egg retrieval. It all went really well- 9 follicles and each had an egg.Embryologist said that they looked like they were all mature but it is too soon to tell for sure. Had a wonderful Aenestheselogist (sp?) and the nurses were amazing as was my doctor, Joyce Vargas. My husband was great and all is good between us. He has gone to a conference and I am going to nap. I am glad that he is gone today as I can just lounge around without feeling like he is home getting restless!Found out today that another friend is pregnant and saw the ultrasound via email. She had been having some IF issues as well. I am going to stay positive and thank God for blessing her and envision us having babies at the same time-she did not tell me- she is too sensitive to have done that- another person we know sent out a mass email with the ultrasound. There is this crazy fear that I have that each pregnancy reduces my chances- like, someone in my circle has to be left out- I dont want it to be me. Its silly as every time I see a BFP here on DS I am THRILLED!!! So, today I ask God to fill me with joy for my friend and to bless my little eggs and turn them into BIG STRONG EMBIES!!!My other friend who did IVF 8 years ago in Canada was telling me that they did not use aenesthetic up there then- I cannot imagine!!!Hope all you ladies are doing well, thank-you for your prayers and amazing comments and messagesxxx
