I have started my Menopur and Follistim. Two shots, not bad. I wa super stressed before but am feeling good today. I got a little testy with my DH, but reigned it in. He is such a great husband and does so much. I have to remember that and not take my stress out on him- he cannot handle it- he is not good at saying "there there etc" But here is what he is good at:hard workingasks almost nothing of me during this time ( ie housework, cooking etc)FaithfulKindfunnyGreat with our dogsspiritualdevoted so- I am typing this to remind myself how incredibly lucky I am and to be grateful and kind to him. He is feeling stress too but doesnt have the luxury of talking to others who are going through it. I can be very selfish at times and I feel afraid that we waited too long ( he was not willing to try IVF at first as he went throught a bit of a commitment freak out when we were first married and stopped letting us try to get preggers for about 8months) I am declaring here that I will let go of this childish resentment. My DH and I are stronger then we were then and that was a necessary part of our journey for him to be the husband he is now. I need to remember that taking care of ME does not mean neglecting him. I am very lucky to have him and I am going to remember what life was like WITHOUT him next time I start being testy!

I went through the same thing w/ my DH re: him wanting to wait to try to get pg. We (I) had a big emotional blowout right after consulting w/ the RE and hearing him recc. IVF. I\'m glad we were able to clear the air, though - it brought us much closer, I was able to get over my resentment towards him, and he was able to better understand how emotional a time this was for me. And this was before starting the meds! Since that time, he has been so much more supportive, understanding, and helpful. I\'m sure that will happen w/ you and your DH, too.

Good luck with everything - I\'m pulling for you! We need more members in the \"Hip and trendy b/c we\'re (almost) 40 and 1st time Mommies!\" Club!!!

You have a great outlook. Sometimes it is the difficult times that make us a stonger couple. Good luck with the rest of your cycle.
