The wait continues!!My DHand I went to my RE today. Four follicles are still dominant on the left. She saw about 5 follicles on the right which are maturing perfectly. So, I need to do another week of BCPS then back for another scan and hopefully on to the stims.I have to say I find it a little obnoxious that they charge per scan-4 a cycle then its another 200 each time. Its that type of thing that makes me feel gouged-like come on- it takes 10 minutes! My husband is a Doctor who works for the county and does so many ultrasounds so he says it is really mind boggling what they charge. Anyway, I know that I am venting but I just think it should be a flat fee!!On a more positive note, I started reading this amazing book, FERTILE FEMALE. I highly recommend it. It talks alot about how we get so hung up on our numbers and stats and how counter-productive it is. It has some great visualizations- so far I have found the writers whole approach very helpful and moving.

I am off to borders to find it. I too get very frustrated with the whole hundred here, hundred there. Just makes it ever more stressful. As much as we have spent, please give us the u/s. Hope that it all goes well.
There are so many things that are incredibly aggravating and unfair w/ IF and IVF. I got to the point where I just had to think of it as a means to an end - an end I wanted so badly that I would give anything to achieve. Good luck to you!

I hope everything is going well with your cycle. Try to stay calm and relaxed and then hopefully this will help your husband cope as well. If ever you feel bad, just keep telling yourself that it\'s probably just the hormones and it is temporary and it will pass. Then take a deep breath and think of something that\'s happy and good in your life - like you 2 gorgeous little puppy dogs. Keep smiling and remember I am here for you always xxx
