I have ischemic colitis and they don't know why. My doctor is going to talk to other GI doctors to find out what tests should be done to figure out why I have it. Also I have another colonoscopy next week. :( Part of the blood supply in my colon was cut off. He said it's like a heart attack in the colon. Surgery may be required. Steroids are a treatment but not long term. My colonoscopy is scheduled for the 28th so I do the prep on the 27th. I didn't sleep well and am having a lot of abdominal pain this morning. I'm using heat and extra strength tylenol. I want to avoid going to the hospital if at all possible. I want to find out what's causing this! I am so relieved it's not my cancer returning! Darkness I\'m so sorry to hear that your still not feeling well. If I may I would like to offer some serious advice....Please take time to read and reread. Doctors try to learn the causes of of disease and to remove those causes so that the illnesses do not recur. However not every disease responds to medicine and surgery, and therein lies the essential limitation of these methods. Chemicals and medicines affect only the outer physical composition of the bodily cells and do not alter the inner atomic structure or life principle of the cells.In many cases NO cure of disease is possible until the healing power of GOD has corrected from within, the imbalance of \"lifetrons\" or intelligent life energy in the body. I have been very fortunate to have experienced this \"miracle\" cure and I pray that you afford yourself the opportunity to do likewise. Daily meditation with God, speaking to Him as you would your best friend. Letting Him know how tired you are of not feeling well, the discomfort that you are experiencing, the pain as well as the anxiety and depression that is associated with your sickness. I\'m relieved to know it\'s not the cancer. I\'ve heard of ischemic colitis but don\'t know a lot about the condition. I really hope you don\'t need another surgery and that the colonoscopy goes okay. I\'m very sorry you are going through all this. You\'ve been through so much and I know the feeling of going through so much first hand. I\'ll hope for the best for you and definitely be praying for you.
