depression
Hubby is very depressed. Thankfully we are going to see the doctor on Monday. He needs to bump up his depression meds or change to a new one. His foot is healing nicely but he as to stay off it. He is so depressed he sleeps all day. I know not to push him too hard and just be here when he needs to talk.
We also see the foot doctor on Monday so hopefully he can allay some of Ray's fears about needing an amputation.
The one good thing is I am now well enough to take care of him.
He had a hard time with me doing so well after the surgery. He was feeling sorry for himself saying "when is it my turn" to get fixed? I had to tone down my own joy at the level of success of the surgery which sucked but on some level I understand. He is in constant pain and has been for 9 years. I know how wearing that can be.
He refuses to take a higher dosage because he is afraid I may need him and he will be too "stoned" to react fast enough or correctly.
