Faith

I have never really had much faith. My grandparents always went to church every sunday when I was young I went with them because I had no option then I got a little older and my mother would always just sleep in and tell me I could stay home with her so I did. The older I got the more I dido to get out of going and eventually just stopped all together. I hastens having to dress up and act so nice to everyone when they wanted to look down on me for how I wanted to dress of the problems I was having. Then once I got with my husband I went to church with him a few times and really started to like it you could wear jeans and a t shirt and no one would think twice. My husband slowly stopped going because we moved farther from that church so we never found a new one. Lately I have been thinking and I want to get the kids into going see if they like it I feel like we need a change like we need something to believe in.

I also stopped going for awhile, I guess I thought god wasn\'t listening. I started going when my son was about five. I enjoy it now and feel that I get something out of mass. I guess I never lost my faith, it just dwindled. My husband doesn\'t go so I go by myself with the kids. Sometimes they are bored but I feel it\'s important for them to have faith and see that I am modeling good values for them. If later they decide they don\'t want to go to mass I won\'t force them but I want them to have a good solid base.
