I've been suffering from severe depression for about 9 years now and I still can't find a doctor or a medication that helps me. I'm currently trying Lamictal but I am still at a low dose. I pray this will be the right one!
Some days I can't even bring myself to get out of bed. No friends or family. My wife is my lifeline but I can see it effecting her now. I'm SO frightened!

Hey sadsack, glad to have you as a new friend. I understand the suicidal thoughts. I had/have them. I have tried before. My father did so I know what the other-side of suicide feels like. The tendency still rises sometimes. But I know, for my kids, never will do it. By The way, by not committing suicide, you are doing a very brave thing. Suicide is chickening out. Suicide is just a way to end pain and to not take the leap and to endure the pain is an act of bravery. Good for you. Love you - John
