Update
Hi all,
I thought I'd update you all a bit.
In the last week I have gone downhill pretty quickly. It started with pains on my right side, my ovary region I suspect. It would come and go and generally a couple of pain killers would suffice. I continued on with life trying to keep it in the back of my mind and trying not to let it worry me.
On the 22nd of September I was buckled over in pain, I fell to the floor in tears (home alone) and faced myself with the reality that this disease after two fairly ok months (minus my periods) had reared itself after exicision surgery. I told myself and my boyfriend and my parents that I wasn't going to act on this untill it became a daily issue or a bigger issue. Although the 22nd was a wipe out, I went to sleep bed ridden for the night and the next day, even then my painkillers wouldnt work =(
last night I was sitting on the couch...and after pain and discomfort decided to lay on the floor with my legs bent in, me on top. After a while the pain got so severe that Jase (bf) told me he wanted to ring the ambulance it had gotten to much, he couldn't watch me suffer. I declined, I didn't and still don't want to go there - Morphene isnt a drug I enjoy and I can't see the point when Im sent home 4-5 hours later to suffer. There is going to come a time where I'll eat my words though and take it.. if this is just the begining of things to come, I'll be going.
So, must to my dismay, I thought I'd have longer, I have booked myself into the gyno on October 19th at 6pm so Jase can come along.
I realise there is no cure, but I am going to tell him I'm not willing to give up on finding a quality of life. We know hormones don't work, naturopathy doesn't work this and that doesn't work. But I want to be proactive in finding something that does work. Because I am at my wits end with this saga thats gotten worse this year. I don't want to be pushed out of the office, I am going to find it in me to get a back bone. Somehow and someway. I just want some relief, even if it's for 6 months or 1 year. If he needs another surgery first to clear it up then to trial some new drugs I'm all for it...I want to be positive. Im trying everything he offers on the table. I just need him to not give up on me. It's SO disheartening.
Shall keep you updated!
XO
