Yesterday well, it was painful however I tred to stay in strong spirits! Thinking "besides this pain my day is good" and keeping up with my painkillers. Whenever people who knew about it asked I said "Im going great minus my pain thankyou :)" and I spoke disregarding it, being thankful for everything else. However - it was hurting and I kept trying to keep my head above it.
In the afternoon I wasnt feeling so crappy - and my pain was being somewhat controlled by the painkillers. So I took our dog next door to the park/open space there and let him run around, just slowly walking around the area keeping an eye on him. He was having oodles of fun running around sniffing at everything and I've felt so bad for not being able to take him on his walks, he is such an active dog and so was I really, before this pain set in after my op. As I've said, before it was only the 10 days of my period and the odd day around it. I keep trying not to kick myself over having an operation, I knew I couldn't keep going through the pain all the time even then my quality of life wasnt good, how would I keep a job bed ridden for so many days a month? Anyway, the taking our dog out for a run about lasted all of 15 minutes, I got into pain and we had to go home luckily, right next door!...He's a good puppy, he knew it was time to go home and he ran back home before me :)
Today I'm in more agony, oh well.. hopefully again this afternoon I can take Winny back to the park. It'll give me something to look forward to!
