Sometimes I get scared to look at the paper or watch the news because I know I'll see something that reminds me of Scott. I just can't believe i'm never going to see him again. He had a mental illness but I never loved him less for that I didn't understand it sometimes, but he was my son and I loved him. I miss him, I ache for him.

Its been 3yrs sense my Ryan has been gone and I still have a hard time watching TV with little boys, babies ect. it hurts to much. There is not a day that goes by without thinking about him..I think mothers have the hardest time of anyone to go through the loss of a child.. The fear of never seeing & hugging them ever again hurts beyond words.. I hope you have a better day today...I noticed you live in New York.. I live 10 minutes from Hampton Beach N.H, 1 hour from Boston Ma. Love, Kelly

Honey, Those fears and anxieties are so normal - they\'re triggers that take you to the most painful event you have had. Sometimes I just leave the t.v. off and do other things - but there will always be triggers - no matter where I go.
Bless you, hope you have a good day - and some peaceful moments.

Just take it one day at a time and let yourself heal the way you need to. You have many people here who are praying for you. hugs jeanie
