I'm in pain, I go through the motions, but I hurt inside I go out with my boyfriend but feel how unfair it is to be having fun, and hear all the wonderful stories about his living healthy sons when my only son is gone. There is a dull ache that doesn't go away. If it wasn't for my beautiful daughter and my wonderful parents, I don't think I would have any reason to go on. But I don't see them everyday so here I am alone left with my misery.  I have no energy and I know the pain will only get worse as the numbness fades away. God help me!

I understand. I felt exactly the same. I have learned that wishing life was \'fair\' is futile. As the year has gone on since my son\'s death I have learned to enjoy stories of other children again and smile at memories sometimes without bursting into tears. I wish I could tell you that the pain has gone away, but it hasn\'t. It has, however, become easier to live with. Hugs, Charlotte.

hi, im jan, we havent met yet but i read your journal entry. it is a very alone feeling. and you know what? somehow it doesnt matter how much family you have near you, deep down you and you alone miss him. same with me. but you know what? that is our special bond with our children on the other side. keep living and doing good things, for him. the more good you do, the closer you will be to him, as he is a pure angel in heaven. love jan
