Well, I've lost 2 out of the 20 pounds I want to lose before my surgery. I was hoping it would be more, but in all honesty I hadn't exercised at all last week and I didn't eat great either. But it's a start! Even though I was hurting the last 2 mornings, I still made myself get up and do some Pilates. I didn't do a lot and to be honest, the stretching from side to side really aggravated my cyst, but I still did it and that's all that matters. Now I just have to KEEP doing it and try not to overdo the abdominal stuff.
I've been pretty sore the last few days, and I keep getting pains that shoot from my belly up through my chest in the morning which is weird. I also keep getting a stabbing pain around the area of my left kidney, but I don't have any symptoms of kidney problems so I'm assuming that it's just radiating pain from the cyst. I get shooting pains in my leg and groin from it sometimes, so I guess it's shooting up instead of down now.
My husband's friend stayed with us last night because he's been having some serious marital problems (his wife is a total nut job, but that's a story for another day). I was in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner, and I heard him say to my husband, "Dude, do you guys even want kids? Why don't you have any yet?" I just stood there grinding my teeth and trying not to freak out and my husband calmly replied that we were waiting until we're more stable in our careers. He knows I don't want anyone knowing...it's embarrassing and it shouldn't be and I don't know why I feel that way.
Oh well. I'm having a good day and I'm forcing myself to stay positive. No point in getting down about IF when there's nothing I can do until my surgery. Speaking of which...45 days!!

2 pounds is a great start! I\'m working on losing the excess weight I have as well and I\'ve managed 1 pound in the last week, slow but 1 pound a week is a good pace. Most sources say you shouldn\'t lose more than 2 pounds a week, and that slower is better (more likely to stay off if you lose slowly apparently). Keep up with small amounts at a time and you\'ll get to your goal! :)

Ooh I hate that question too, whenever I meet someone new at work or wherever and they ask me when I am going to have kids or why I don\'t have kids I just awkwardly smile and say \"I don\'t know\" but it seriously ruins my day! It is all I can think about for awhile after. I guess they don\'t know any better or how much that stupid question can hurt.

Men are so dumb! Sorry about the insensitive question. I know how you feel. When people ask me I just quietly say \"we\'ll see\". A horrible answer, but what can you say? Tell your personal story?
Also 2 pounds is great! Keep at it, drink a lot of water! Dont look at it like i have to lose 20 pounds. Its all how you look and feel really! I looked my best when i was 20 pounds heavier because of muscle. So its really a matter of building muscle, (not like a body builder), but muscle looks incredible and organically gets rid of fat. Also, muscle weighs more than fat, so while the scale might not be the number you want, you may look and feel the way you want without hitting that 20 pound mark! As a rule, we dont have a scale in the house! So look at it like feeling better! My husband owns a personal training studio, and is an amazing trainer, and I know he would tell you what I just did. And its all about feeling better! Im sure you beautiful!!

Thank you, @yankees8...I appreciate the advice! I have been drinking a TON of water, I just need to get my butt moving more than I have been. I hope to start running again as soon as it warms up a little!
