Interview
Well I just got back from my second interview for my dream job...it didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped. They asked me why I wanted to leave my current job and I launched into a whole speech about how I believe in being passionate about what you do and making a difference, and how my current job is just a JOB and I want a career; somewhere where I can grow and learn and branch out. And their response was "Oh...well, you can't really do that here".
WHAT??
Whatever. I told my husband if I get the job, I'll be happy because it's a new job (although they ALSO told me that the contract expires in September and might not be renewed...wtf...). But if I DON'T get it, that's okay, because that means I can have surgery in 55 days :) Plus they are finally opening up a new position at work that I can hopefully get...they were going to hire me for it before they had to pull it because we went on a hiring freeze.
Anyway, I am feeling really positive and happy today. I don't know why, but I'm not complaining. My pain isn't too bad, I'm not super down in the dumps about IF, and I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend at home. I'm making corned beef and cabbage on Sunday, of course, and a big pot of borscht all day tomorrow because...well...I wish I were Russian. Haha.

Glad you are feeling positive even if the dream job isn\'t as dreamy as you hoped for. Everything works out in the end. Hoping you get your surgery in 55 days :)
sounds like any way it goes you have some options and better things to come... glad to hear you are feelnig better today also and in a good mood keep us posted on if you get the job offer or if the other one at your current work opens up HuGS
