Just venting
So, call me selfish....I'm at work listening to co-workers talk about their kids graduating, the awards they're getting, the colleges they're going to, etc.....just don't want to here it. I'm finding it difficult to congratulate them but I do with a smile. Why can't this be my child? All I can think is that my child may be going to jail any day now. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO US? WHY, WHY, WHY?

This is exactly how I feel and it sucks! We just have to keep hoping and praying and take care of our own family. I lost myself trying to deal with my sons addiction for the past 4 years. Now I am back and finally able to try to help him again. NEVER GIVE UP! Hugs Cher
