Struggling....

I'm struggling to keep my sanity. He says he has to leave because he shouldn't disappoint me anymore. I agree that i shouldn;t be disappointed, but am I missing something here? Just like that....divorce? What about therapy? States he doens't believe in it. Where does this leave me? God doesn't believe in divorce....we have 2 children....why not just try to work things out? I am so stressed. I don't want him to leave, I want him to fight for us.

this statement from your husband is a typical addict statement...instead of dealing with the addiction he says its much better to leave you to protect you..just goes to show you who he is really protecting and let me tell you it isnt you!!!! If he refuses to go to therapy,he hasnt come to terms with the addiction and what it is doing to the marriage so he figures its easy FOR HIM to just walk away. This lets him off the hook,he doesnt have to face his demons head on,and leaves you feeling more hurt and sadness...TYPICAL addict attitude. I get that this addiction is embarassing, and hard to talk about it for men, hard to admit, hard to ask for help as we live in a sex taboo world....but in my opinion he is being very selfish and self absorbed!!!!! Therapy is key to freedom and recovery. If he isnt willing to do it you cant make him and perhaps divorce is the answer BUT he will only get worse and worse and you not being in his life will open the door for more disturbing behaviours! DO you want your kids around that guy? I think not....I can almost bet that he is saying those things so you stop suggesting therapy and close your eyes to his actions...When i discovered what my husband was doing online i insisted on therapy for him ....and told him that regardless if our marriage ended or not i would NOT allow my kids to be around him until he got some form of help....sending you blessings and prayers and hugs...this is such an unfair journey!!

I am trying very hard to maintain peace for my kids. I cannot have them put through this pain with Christmas right around the corner. Our lives are all going to be turned upside down soon enough and I don\'t want this to reflect their future Christmas holidays. What a terrible memory.
