Went to go see my husband this past weekend with my grand daughters and had a womderful visit. My girl's have missed thier papa so much, it was nice to see thier faces when they finally saw him. We pretended that he didn't kow they were coming so they thought they were surprising him and he played along with it. They just couldn't get enough of him, they both sat on a knee. We played cards and dominoes and then they went outside to show him all the new moves they had learned playing basketball. He misses them as much as they miss him, they are already planning our next visit this summer.
Leaving is always so hard I hate coming home to reality, so much is going on at home. Krista is in for the fight of her life trying to get custody of her son back and I'm not going to make it easy for her. I have to many times before and I have no more tears left it's all up tp her now. I told her today I'm tired of her crying and feeling bad for herself because she put herself in this situation nobody did it to her. She is going to have to get tough and mad and fight for her son.  She needs to prove to the courts and her son's father that she is capable of taking care of him and staying off drugs. She can't just sit on her ass and think this is going to get done for her because it's not. She's lucky her day program is supporting her and giving her all the help they are, she has the names of some lawyers to contact and that's the one thing I told her I'd help with. I do believe she can be a good mother because I've seen it but when she messes up she does it in a big way and that's when the father steps in and I'm glad my grandson has a good father too because if it wasn't him fighting her it would be me. This is all just going to be one big ugly fight because alot of stuff is going to be brought up on both sides and I never wanted it this way, but it's out of my hands, As long as I get to spend time with my grandson and he is safe that's all I am going to worry about.
Do I hope my daughter does the right thing? you bet I do, do I want my grandson home with us, you bet I do but I need to know he will be safe first.
Keep us in your prayer's, pray that she stays on the right path and get's her baby back , pray that she fight's the fight and stay's strong for herself and her son. Thank you my friends.
Hugs,
Pat

It\'s so nice that you got to have a family visit and that it went so well. I can imagine the swing of emotions from high to low that just such a visit must give you though. I\'m sending you lots of hugs! It\'s so hard to go through this and even harder when you have custody issues going on at home with your daughter. I have a son in prison who\'s baby mama won\'t let his son see me or anyone from our side of the family out of spite, and I have another son who has two sons that he is fighting for because of a bitter divorce and false accusations that he is proving to the courts with one clean test after another. As a result I see none of my grandchildren and I am a strong Christian woman who has never gotten in trouble or abused substances of any kind. To make it even more hurtful to endure I am a professional licensed and accredited child care provider for the state of California!! Still I have this drama in my life. Sometimes life can deal you a hard hand. Hang in there. I\'ll pray for your daughter to fight the good fight and win.
Hugs from sunny California, Cindy
