Tired
Hello! My name is Chassity. I am just now finding information on Cushing's Disease and Cushing's Syndrome and I am completely dumbfounded that not one of the doctor's that I have seen over the last 10 years have ever mentioned this as a possibility to me. I began getting daily headaches approximately 10 years ago and I was diagnosed with hypertension around the same time. I have been on multiple medications for my BP, which end up not controlling it. I then began having problems with constant tension in my neck with my neck swelling up, mostly on the left side. About a year after all of this began, I had my first of many kidney stones, which I found out is also a symptom of Cushing's. I still have kidney stones in both of my kidneys just sitting there, but I haven't had problems with passing them in a while. I was seeing a Neurologist in 2012 for my daily headaches. He decided to order an MRI to make sure everything was normal and found a brain aneurysm, which he didn't think was causing the headaches. I had a PED placed for my brain aneurysm in October 2012, which recent tests have shown that the aneurysm is now shrinking and doing well. I have still been having non-stop daily, sometimes debilitating headaches, a buffalo hump on my neck area, memory loss, cognitive problems, constant urinary issues, hypertension, rounded face, constant fatigue and now upper back pain. I have 3 children and I am constantlyhave to push myself to do daily things.I just turned 30 in March and know I shouldn't always be feeling bad and not wanting to get out of bed. I sometimes feel like the doctors think I am crazy. I'm basically at the end of my rope and I would like to meet people with similar symptoms.I just want answers and I feel like I have been brushed off for so long. Does anyone know any good Endocrinologists in the Nashville, TN area? Thank you for reading my story!
